It’s Always the Crazy Times…

The last year has been insane.

Roughly 12 months ago we felt God calling us to move. We weren’t sure where (maybe Colorado? Wyoming?) but we started to feel the roots we had planted pulled up around us. We had gotten very used to a routine in our small-town East Texas life; things were somewhat predictable and we were finally making friends (hard to do as a couple of introverts). We began to question as to whether this was really God speaking or just our frustration with changes to our role in the church. God is not one to leave us hanging for long so a few days later my wife had a VERY vivid dream that would help guide us through the journey to come.

I will lay out the details to this dream in a later post but know this: God does not call you in to something without paving the way. He was waiting for us to be ready to take that first step. Every time things got crazy and started to fall apart (in our eyes) He would remind us of a portion of that dream and reassure us that we were on the right path. It was incredibly hard but He provided for us along the way and has brought us to where we are now.

We still have very little information about why we are here in Washington but are confident that we will find out as we continue to follow Gods purpose on our lives and seek Him.
